I am very happy to report that yesterday the Workers' Compensation Board voted to adopt the version of the SLU Guidelines that it had proposed on November 22, 2017. This not only ensures that injured workers will receive just compensation for their work related injuries, but also marks another tremendous victory for labor. Following the Board's September 1st guideline proposal, organized labor unions throughout the state mobilized against the draconian proposals. Those efforts led to the WCB's complete re-write of the proposal and yesterday's adoption of same.
