W2 Tax Form Information PeopleSoft and 2020 Gross Pay Clarification

Dear COBA Members/Retirees;

Please be advised that HR has notified us that all paper copies of our W2 Earnings Statements have been mailed out via US Mail and will soon be available on the PeopleSoft System.

As an additional reminder, the first paycheck of 2020 included eight (8) days of pay from calendar year 2019. Since those 8 days were actually paid in calendar year 2020 they are included in your 2020 W-2.

As a result of this, your 2020 W-2 gross income will be HIGHER than your annual base salary. Some form of this happens every year due to the pay periods not ending exactly at years's end.

We will send out an additional announcement regarding the accessibility of your W2s on PeopleSoft once it becomes available.
