Coba Alert

Unpaid Overtime April 2017

April 21, 2017

COBA has been made aware that several of our Members have not been paid their proper Overtime in this week's check. This issue appeared to have been resolved after an agreement was made between the Union and the County many months ago, but now has unfortunately occurred again.

It is our understanding that regardless of the reason why this occurred again, that all overtime has been submitted to HR and will be paid on the next overtime check. Regardless of this, the Union directs that any Member who did not receive their proper amount of overtime for this pay period, to submit a To/From to Human Resources documenting your individual account of what overtime has not been paid. Additionally, the Union directs that you provide of copy of this To/From to the Union so that we may have the proper documentation of this continued problem for use in our planned Legal Action against the County.

Please keep a copy of this documentation for yourself. Always keep a copy of any and all documentation to and from the Dept for future use should anything happen to get lost.

We hope to rectify this issue once and for all going forward.
