THANK YOU FOR MASK AND MEAL DONATIONS

April 17, 2020

A Message from President Brian Sullivan

COBA has received two generous donations of much needed N95 masks for our Members.

Steve Isaacs our Labor Attorney from Koehler and Isaacs donated 200 N95 masks and 12 gallons of hand sanitizer for us. We used these masks primarily for our members who are out sick with COVID and their families, along with a package of surgical masks that we secured from Mad Men.

We delivered them personally to the homes of 50+ Officers who are out. We have additional "go bags" of these masks ready for any future Officer who goes out sick. The Hand Sanitizer was delivered to the front line areas where our Officers are dealing with this crisis in the most exposed areas.

COBA also connected with the The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation who generously donated 1000 N95s to us today.

Thanks to Correction Officer and COBA Delegate Brian Dolan of the Transportation Unit as well as former COBA Delegate and Sergeant Greg Lanning of the Operations Unit for their hard work in coordinating and connecting COBA with the Board of the Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Without their dedication this may never have come together.

While every member of COBA is working diligently at heightened risk during this time of crisis, COBA's Delegates come to work every day shouldering the additional responsibility of ensuring our members voices are heard directly from the front lines.
