Dear COBA Members and Retirees;

This Holiday Season, COBA is once again partnering with the Unites States Marine Corps Reserve in support of Toys for Tots. As you all know, the Toys for Tots Program provides toys for underprivileged children during the Holidays. Even though we work in a dangerous and thankless profession and we may complain about things in our daily lives, we all know full well that we are very lucky, blessed and privileged to be in the position we are in. We work in a profession that provides us with so many opportunities that many others don't have. That blessing has never been more apparent than during this miserable year where so many people have lost their loved ones and their livelihoods.

With that in mind, we should all do our best to pay forward the blessings we have and help provide a little Holiday Cheer to a deserving child who may not have much of a Happy Holiday.

COBA has setup Toys for Tots Collection Boxes at the Core Control Desk, the 4500 Desk and in the Operations Unit.

We also have a box at the Union Office (504 East Meadow Ave).

I urge each and every one of you to help us fill up these donation boxes especially this year by donating a new unwrapped toy (any age level) for a deserving underprivileged child.

These donation boxes will be collected on Friday Dec. 18th.
