As we stagger through this horrible year, and enter the Holiday Season hopeful that we will see brighter days ahead, COBA asks that you please remember in your prayers Retired Correction Sergeant Kevin Nuckel who is going through a very tough time, battling an extremely debilitating form of cancer.

Kevin has always been a loyal friend to all of us in Corrections and a longtime fixture here at the Nassau County Sheriffs Dept.

Kevin and his family need as much positive energy as we can muster sent their way as they battle this insidious disease.

COBA is also aware of other Members/Retirees who are battling cancer and other illnesses and we ask that you please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

Always find a moment to count your blessings and enjoy what really matters in life. Your family, your friends and your health.
