COBA is saddened to report the sudden passing of Retired Correction Officer

William "Billy" Mastrangelo. Billy retired in 2012.  

The family has advised that there will not be a wake or funeral service, only a small cremation ceremony for the family. A memorial will be held at a later date.

COBA will provide that information when it becomes available.

On behalf of the entire Board of Governors of the Correction Officers Benevolent Association and all Nassau County Correction Officers, we extend our sincerest condolences to Billy's family and friends and all those who grieve his loss.
