Nassau Sheriffs Dept Begins New Chapter at the David S. Mack Training Facility

October 22, 2021

Dear COBA Members;

It'll never happen. It's a fantasy. It's a Police Facility, not for us.

They'll never let us use it. We're the red headed step children.

We've heard it all. We've lived it all for far too many years.

Well the thing that will never happen, finally happened today.

The Nassau County Sheriffs Dept Academy Staff began moving in and today, conducted their first In Service Training class at the brand new, state of the art, David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence in Uniondale. Today the Sheriff's Dept took a major step forward on what we hope will be a fruitful journey toward restoring our Dept to its rightful, prominent and respected place in the Law Enforcement Community.

See a few photos below of today's first In Service Class:

Always In Unity;
