Dear COBA Members;
COBA has received two generous donations of much needed N95 masks for our Members.
1.) Steve Isaacs our Labor Attorney from Koehler and Isaacs donated 200 N95 masks and 12 gallons of hand sanitizer for us. We used these masks primarily for our members who are out sick w/COVID and their families, along with a pkg of surgical masks that we secured from Mad Men. We delivered them personally to the homes of 50+ Officers who are out. We have additional "go bags" of these masks ready for any future Officer who goes out sick. The Hand Sanitizer was delivered to the front line areas where our Officers are dealing with this crisis in the most exposed areas, including B2, B5 and D3 New Admit Housing, CD1 Inmate Isolation D2 Clinic, the Medical Unit and Operations.

Thank you Steve Isaacs for looking out for our Members!!
2.) COBA connected with the The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation who generously donated 1000 N95s to us today. After we provided lunch to Plt 5 today, we broke the mask delivery down and provided 2 masks for each officer who is working areas who are again most exposed during this crisis. We divided up pkgs of N95 masks to each Platoon crew working around the clock on B2, B5 and D3 New Admit Housing Areas; CD1 Isolation; D2 Clinic; E/D Medical Units; Operations; and the Control Desks. We will continue this tonight when we provide lunch to the new Midnight crews coming on and tomorrow with Platoon 6 at lunch.
Thank you Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers for your generation donation!!

Thank you John Huvane from the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation!!
