COBA is saddened to report the passing of Retired Correction Lieutenant James Shortell, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

On behalf of the Correction Officers Benevolent Association, we extend our deepest condolences to the entire Shortell Family, their friends and all those who grieve his loss.

A Memorial Service will be held at Morgans Park, Glen Cove on Sunday October 3 at noon. Contributions in memory of James may be made to Helios Care. www.helioscare.org
