Memorial Donation from Chris McTigue's Family

May 7, 2021

Dear COBA Members/Retirees;

Today our Widows and Children's Committee once again conducted our Annual Memorial to remember those of our Members who died in the Line of Duty and those who passed while in Active Service.

We also honored with our new granite Monument, Members who have been designated as "Those Who Passed From 911 Related Illness".

We are still assembling photos to present to you of todays ceremony, but we wanted to share one particular moment from today's Service.

Kevin McTigue, brother of our departed Member Chris McTigue, presented our SERT Team with a Memorial Gray Line Flag Canvas, with Chris's name, SERT Designation and Shield # emblazoned on it.

Kevin McTigue gave it to Chris's Brother SERT Members in his honor.

See below a photo of Kevin McTigue (who bears a striking resemblance to Chris) and the entire McTigue Family presenting the canvas to Members of the SERT Team to honor his many years of dedicated service to SERT.

The canvas is now proudly displayed in the SERT Office,

Never forget our departed Brothers and Sisters who are no longer with us.

Always in Unity;

Brian Sullivan, COBA President
