Dear COBA Members/Retirees;
Every home in the US is now eligible to receive 4 free "At Home" COVID-19 Rapid Tests. These tests are rapid antigen at home tests, not PCR tests.
No lab is required and you get results within 30 minutes, and work whether you are vaccinated or not.
These tests are good if you have COVID symptoms, had contact with someone who has COVID or in preparation for gathering with family or friends. Especially those who are at risk of severe disease or are unvaccinated.
The initial rollout of this government program limits the availability of the tests to 4 per household. As of January 15th, you can also go online or order additional tests at your local pharmacy at no cost through your health insurance program.
