Today COBA received a generous donation of 2000 Surgical Masks from John Feal of the 9/11 Fealgood Foundation and the 9/11 Law Firm of Barasch and McGarry. COBA as you know has worked very closely with both of these organizations who were the driving forces behind lobbying the Federal Government to re-fund the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund and World Trade Center Health Program. John Feal is a nationally renown advocate, protecting the rights of 9/11's First Responders. Barasch and McGarry currently represent numerous COBA Members and Retirees who worked or volunteered in the aftermath of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks and suffered 9/11 related illnesses.

We immediately began breaking down the donation for each of our members and started distributing them at today's COBA Barbecue for Platoon 5. We will continue distributing them at tomorrow's BBQ for Platoon 6. Platoon 4, the Midnights and Ancillary Areas will be receiving them in the next few days.
