It’s with deep regret that COBA announces the passing of our longtime Union Chaplain, Father Joesph D’Angelo. Father D’Angelo served as the Chaplain to COBA, NCPD and many other departments across Long Island. Father D’Angelo served as our Union Chaplain since 2016 and was always available for our needs. We are very sadden to hear of Father D’Angelo’s passing and ask you to please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Funeral Arrangements for Fr. Joseph D’Angelo will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, located at 720 Merrick Ave, North Merrick, NY on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 2pm - 7pm. A Uniform Service will follow immediately after viewing at 7pm with a Vigil mass proceeding at 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday May 25, 2024 at 10am at St. Agnes Cathedral located at 29 Quealy Place in Rockville Centre, NY.
