COVID-19 Testing for First Responders

Dear COBA Members;

As the pandemic rolls on and we await news of when our Dept will be afforded the opportunity to receive vaccines, COBA wishes to advise our Members that in addition to your private healthcare provider or the local Doc in the Box, COVID-19 Testing is available for First Responders at the following locations.

Please only utilize these services if you are either symptomatic or if you were exposed to someone who tested positive.

New York State Dept of Health

Jones Beach State Park

Roosevelt Nature Center

Call: 1-888-364-3065 to schedule an Appointment

Do NOT go there without first making an Appointment

Tell them you are a First Responder

You will need to create an account on the phone with the State Rep.

You will then be sent text msgs on how to proceed.

You will usually be given a time to arrive within one day.

When you arrive, bring your drivers license and work ID.

Test results are within 2-3 days.

Also:

The Town of Hempstead will be providing free COVID-19 testing today Dec. 18th from 10am to 6pm and again on Monday Dec. 21st and Tuesday Dec. 22nd from 10am to 6pm.
