COBA Veterans Day Donation Drive 2021

October 1, 2021

Dear COBA Members and Retirees;

Veteran's Day is once again approaching, and to honor our Veterans, Nassau COBA will once again be conducting a Donation Drive for personal care items for our Veterans in need. Collection Boxes will be placed at the Core Control Desk, the 4500 Desk and at the COBA Office at 504 East Meadow Ave. East Meadow, NY 11554.

We urge all of our members to once again dig deep, show your support and donate items for those that have faithfully served our country and are now in need of our support.

The boxes will be collected Monday November 8th so they can be sorted and delivered to the Nassau County Vet Mart, on the grounds of NUMC by Veterans Day.

The Vet Mart requested that items donated be "small and personal sized" not BJ's sized canisters, so that they can be donated individually and not wasted.

Personal Care Items They Are In Particular Need Of Are:

Rice--Small Packets

Oatmeal

Toothpaste

Shaving Cream

Razors

Soap

Snacks (Individual Size)

Juice Boxes (OJ/Apple Juice)

Toilet Paper

Peanut Butter

Canned Tuna

Jars of Pasta Sauce

Thank you in advance for your help. Dont just pass by the boxes.

Drop off some items to help our Veterans in need.

Always in Unity;

Brian Sullivan, COBA President
