Dear COBA Members,
I am writing to you regarding a recent vacancy in our Delegate Body.
As some of you may be aware, former Nassau COBA Delegate, Michael McCann, has resigned this past Friday.
Pursuant to our Union by-laws, since more than 6 months remain on the term, the seat will remain vacant until a date for a special election will be set to fill the remainder of the term.
The date and time of the Special Election will be set at our next Board of Governors meeting.
The Executive Board and I would like to thank Corporal McCann for his service and wish him well.
We also encourage any of our members, who are interested in joining our Delegate Body, to reach out with any questions or concerns.
We look forward to continue our advocacy for Nassau COBA Members and their families.
Fraternally,
Pete Lilli
President
Nassau COBA
