Dear COBA Members,

The following are the details for the wake of

Correction Officer Dylan Hussey on Saturday May 30, 2026.

Due to the limited parking and logistics of the funeral home, all members, both on duty and off duty are asked to assemble in the D-Visiting Parking Lot. The Union has secured 2 coach buses to transport members to and from the services.

The Administration has agreed to lock the facility down during the funeral to ensure as many staff members can attend as possible.

Please wear Class A uniform. (Non Cargo Pants, Long Sleeve Shirt, Tie, Stetson hat)

Wake Session #1 (1400-1600)

Buses will be begin departing at 1345hrs from correctional facility. Buses will continue to run throughout session.

Wake Session #2 (1900-2100)

Buses will be begin departing at 1845hrs from correctional facility. Buses will continue to run throughout session.

Memorial Service

At 2000hrs there will be a brief memorial service at the funeral home. Due to the size of the funeral home, COBA has provided a PA system outside so members in line waiting are able to hear.

NCSD Widow’s & Children’s Fund will be on site at the funeral home with light refreshments for those in line.
