It is with sadness that COBA announces the passing of Retired Lieutenant Benjamin Volpicello son of Retired Investigator Benjamin Volpicello. Lt. Volpicello retired from the department after serving completing 35 years of service in 2000. We ask you to keep the Volpicello family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lieutenant Volpicello will be reposing at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home Inc. located 49 hillside Ave Williston Park Ny 11596 on Monday July 7, 2025, from 1600-2000 hours.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at St. Aidan Roman Catholic Church located at 505 Willis Ave Williston Park NY at 10:00am.

Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury NY 11590.
