It is with great sadness that COBA reports the passing of Retired Correction Officer Derek E Boyd, brother of Retired Correction Officer Dwayne Boyd. Officer Derek Boyd was appointed too the Sheriff's Department on March 16, 2001, and retired on November 30, 2022.

At this time, we have not been notified of any arrangements, but once any information is available, we will send it out.
