Dear COBA Members/Retirees;

COBA's contract that was ratified by our Members and passed both the Finance and Rules Committees of the Nassau County Legislature, was proposed on today's full Legislative Calendar.

By unanimous bipartisan vote, the contract passed the full Legislature and has now been forwarded to NIFA for full and final ratification.

We expect NIFA to meet the first week of November to vote on both our contract and the County's budget.

I'll keep you all informed as we proceed to finalize our contract's full ratification.
