Dear COBA Members/Retirees;

Last night I emailed to you the Supporting Fact Sheets and Salary Charts for the proposed contract. I accidentally did not attach the actual signed MOU. Basically, I didn't hit "send" and for that I apologize. Suffice it to say, that yesterday was a very busy day.

Last night, the Board of Governors voted to send this proposal to you the members for ratification. At the end of that meeting Union reps delivered full packages of the contract proposal to the Jail where the deal is now circulating, along with these emails containing the full package of information.

As a reminder, we have scheduled 2 Contract Informational Meetings for Monday September 25 at Levittown Hall, on Levittown Pkwy in Hicksville.

The first meeting will be from 10am to 2pm.

The second meeting will be from 6pm to 10pm.

Additional meetings are in the process of being scheduled to accommodate Platoons that are off.

I urge everyone to come to the meetings so that you can have a full understanding of this agreement and have any/all questions answered correctly.
