COBA 9/11 Registration Seminar

July 28, 2020

To All COBA 9/11 Responders:

Nassau COBA has conducted several previous 9/11 Registration Seminars that have been very informative gatherings for our Members and Retirees who responded to NYC and other various sites in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Unfortunately, we have several active and retired Members who are suffering from medical conditions related to their brave actions back then. To date, we have guided many of our Members and Retirees through the 9/11 Registration Process to protect their rights on both the Federal and State level should they need current or future medical assistance, or if they wished to file a claim for compensation. Even if you have no current medical conditions related to 9/11 you should be registered with the WTC Health Program to establish a baseline and monitor your health into the future.

Due to recent demand, COBA is planning another 9/11Registration Day for sometime in the Fall. STOP PROCRASTINATING!! If you worked in any capacity at Ground Zero or any of the other sites related to 9/11, get yourself in and register to protect yourself and your family should God forbid, anything ever happen in the future.

We need to know how many Members/Retirees still need to sign in to the 9/11 Registries, so contact us as soon as possible so that we can establish a list of who we need to help moving forward.

If you wish to be a part of it, please either email the Union office at:

NCSCOBA@AOL.COM

or call the office #

516-937-7800

You will need to provide us with your name, current address, email address and a contact phone number. Since we began this push to get our Members/Retirees registered, COBA has partnered with several 9/11 organizations and law firms to help guide our people with all their 9/11 related issues including updating legislation as our needs change.

Call or email us now so we can help you protect yourself and your family.

Always Yours in Unionism;

Brian Sullivan, COBA President

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
