Dear COBA Members,

As we approach the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the COBA Executive Board is honored to distribute commemorative challenge coins to all active members. These coins pay tribute to the COBA members who have succumbed to 9/11-related illnesses, as well as to all those whose lives have been profoundly affected by that tragic day.

For those in law enforcement, the phrase “Never Forget” resonates with particular significance. We are hoping that each member who receives a coin will carry it with pride and to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity that our nation displayed in the aftermath of September 11, 2001.

Distributing these coins is a solemn honor that allows us to recognize the COBA members who have passed away due to 9/11 illnesses. Each coin serves as a poignant reminder of the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the sacrifices made on that day.

As we carry these coins, we also carry their memory and strengthen our commitment to Never Forget.
