Dear COBA Members;

Following up on President Sullivan’s email from February 1, 2021, regarding “PeopleSoft and 2020 Gross Pay Clarification”, the Union has received several calls from COBA Members concerning their 2020 W-2's and their GML-207c pay calculations. As you are aware, wages paid under GML-207c and Workers’ Compensation are tax exempt and if correctly reported will reflect as such on your 2020 W-2 statement. The majority of the discrepancies that we finding are from members who were out of work on 207c in the last pay period of December 2020. If you would like an amended W-2c, please call me in the Union Office or send me an email at ncscoba4vp@verizon.net.  

I will request one from the Nassau County Comptroller’s Office on your behalf. Please include your name and Nassau County Employee ID Number in the email. Also, you could expect the amended W2-c in the mail in the later part of March, so set your tax appointment accordingly.  

Please submit all requests by Friday, February 19, 2021.
